Nairobi X-Ray Supplies Ltd was the first fully dedicated medical equipment supply & service company in East Africa.
Part of the Vanguard group, we have been at the forefront of providing world class state of the art equipment, after-sales service, and application training to the healthcare sector in East Africa for over 40 years.

With time, growing clientele and success, we diversified into other biomedical supplies and equipment.
Slowly and carefully, after extensive research we obtained agencies for other Japanese and European manufacturers.
All our partnerships have been selected only after careful analysis, to ensure all our products speak on terms of Quality and Reliability, the key ingredients of our success stories within East Africa.

Revolutionizing Technical Support for Healthcare in Kenya

To further enhance the quality of service provided to our clients we started hiring engineers and sending them to various manufacturers for specialisation.
At the time when, in Kenya, hospitals had to arrange for repairs and services overseas or invest heavily in training their own technicians abroad, we were the first to offer local technical back up support to our clients.

Delivering Excellence in Healthcare Projects Worldwide

We now have a full-fledged service team of 10 engineers and technicians, all factory trained. As our installed base in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania got bigger; we opened up branch offices in these countries to keep providing the best service with minimum down time. Our offices have both administrative and technical support operating from the Capital Cities of Kampala and Dar es Salaam.
Our client base includes all leading private healthcare institutes as well as institutes in the government sector.
We have been key partners with various international organisations in turnkey medical projects. Countries where we have completed turnkey projects with JICA include; Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi, Madagascar, Rwanda, Burundi, Benin, Zambia, Mozambique Eastern Europe, namely Bosnia, Herzegovina, Moldova, Macedonia etc. We also completed one of the biggest projects here in Western Kenya, partnering with GTZ & World Bank.
